Favorite Mothers Day Gift: When I can get my entire family to help work in the yard for the day.  Being so busy with all their sports, it is hard to find time to take care of it.  So, my favorite Mothers Day Gift is when I get them all at home to help do yard clean-up for the day.

Best Way To Be Pampered:  One word – pedicure!

Favorite Meal:  Favorite meal to eat – a really good filet mignon with melted garlic butter to dip it in.  Favorite meal to fix a team – pasta with homemade red sauce, garlic bread, salad, and brownies.

Hidden Talent:  Began taking pictures of my own kids playing sports and ended up taking pictures of all the kids….not so hidden anymore, as I actually went ahead and started a public Facebook page (Amy McCombs Photos) where I post lots of pictures of sports (sometimes thousands of pictures per week).  Mostly Jacksonville Middle School and Jacksonville High School teams, IC Golf, Lewis Basketball, and travel teams my kids play on.  However, I also can often be seen taking pictures of teams that do not include one of my own children.

Favorite Movie:  Pretty much any movie with Kevin Costner (except Waterworld!)

Dream Vacation:  Beginning in 2010, our family began a quest to attend a baseball game in every MLB stadium.  We are one trip away from completing this and will be doing the final stadiums in summer 2019.  As a result, our children have ridden in the car with us in every one of the 48 contiguous states.  We watch baseball games, eat at restaurants from Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, and visit historical sites.  Our kids call this travelling, not vacationing.  My husband Shawn and I have hiked the Grand Canyon, visited Alaska, and Hawaii together.  Would love our next vacation without the kids to be an all-inclusive resort somewhere.

Best song to rock out with in a car full of kids:  Radio is always playing country music in my car.

My best sport in high school was:  I played soccer (on the boys’ team), basketball and ran track (hurdles and high jump).  Was co-captain of the boys’ varsity soccer team my senior year.
