After a scoreless first half, Pleasant Plains’ Sam Shea saw to that with a goal in the first eight minutes of the second half to give the Cardinals a lead. Plains’ Gavin Morley added to that lead shortly before a Russell Crifasi goal made things interesting at 2-1, but Plains ultimately held on thanks to some clutch saves by Evan Saebeler.
