Blake Turner said Friday’s defensive effort was the best he’d seen from his Lanphier team all season. He discussed the 10-0 run Lanphier used in the third quarter to turn the game and he also addressed comments made by Champaign Central after last year’s loss to the Lions in a sectional semifinal. Lanphier and Central play next week in the 3A Eisenhower sectional.
