Darrell Smith started the terrific shooting, then Malik Smith ended it. The Alton Redbirds started hot and only got hotter against Glenwood, hitting eight first half three’s and finishing the game with 13 as a team, winning 62-45 in the 4A Quincy Regional Semifinal over Glenwood.
Malik Smith finished with a game-high 23, as Kevin Caldwell added 20 for Alton. Bradyn Kilby led the Titans with 17 in the loss.
