Despite starting the game down 14-0 to state ranked Charleston the Lanphier Lady Lions roared back to take the lead into halftime and late into the 3rd quarter but the dream run ended in Lincoln as Charleston pulled away late to beat Lanphier, 71-57.
Sophomore Martrice Brooks lead the Lions with 27 but was outdone by Charleston’s freshman sensation Shae Littleford who lead all scorers with 30. Charleston moves on to the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history while Lanphier’s season comes to an end with a record of 16-14.
