Vorreyer, Moulton Shine for Glenwood at Sectionals as They Move On To State Finals


 

Levi Vorreyer was dominant once again in the diving pool, as he has been all season. The Glenwood freshman finished with a total score of 451.30 to take first place in diving and claim an automatic bid to state. Springfield High junior Drew Harmon came in a close second with 445.20 and looks to receive one of 32 state-wide at-large bids for state.

On the swimming side Glenwood qualified for state as a team, finishing first in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay , as they finished second overall on the day with 195 points. Individually, Evan Moulton took home first place in the 200 Yard IM (1:57.60) and the 500 Yard Freestyle (4:48.12), snagging two state bids.

Jacksonville’s Caleb Babb is also headed to state, as he secured first place in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a state qualifying time of 57.37.
