Less than three months ago, Nick Capriotti was the leading runner back on a Rochester football team that won it’s 7th state title in 8 years. Jump ahead to the middle of February and Capriotti is the first ever Rockets wrestler to earn a spot on the podium at the state wrestling tournament.
Capriotti the 195 pounder finished in 6th place in Class 2A with a loss to Apollo Gothard from Lemont. Capriotti talks about earning a medal and making school history after his 5th place match.
