New Berlin had a late lead in Tuesday’s game at Williamsville but the Pretzels couldn’t close out the conference win. They corrected those issues and produced a different outcome with a 51-43 victory at Riverton on Friday.
The Hawks used a 10-2 run out of the half to take a 36-30 over the Pretzels, but Casey Bixby, who scored a team high 20 points for New Berlin, started the charge to pull the Pretzels back into the lead. Max Day added 16 for the Pretzels. Riverton’s Travis Hogan scored a game high 23 in the loss.
