Lanphier controlled a sneaky good Washington team for three quarters, until the Panthers exploded in the fourth with a 12-1 run to take a four point lead with under three minutes to play, but from there Cardell McGee was clutch. He went 6-6 from the charity stripe as the Lions regained the lead and eventually held on for a 46-44 win.
McGee finished with 15 points in the win while Washington’s Adrian Ware led all scorers with 16.
