The defending champs got some good news on the day they started their defense of the Waverly Holiday Tournament title. Max Day was cleared to play for New Berlin on Tuesday morning. The Pretzels proved they didn’t need him much as Day contributed mainly on the defensive end in limited action, beating South County 55-44 on Tuesday evening.
Kyle Diamond, Hunter Stockton and Casey Bixby took care of the scoring for the Pretzels, who get the winner of Pawnee and North Mac on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.
