Washington’s ground game was too much for the MacArthur defense in the second round of the 5A playoffs as the Panthers pounded their way to a 59-28 win over the Generals on Saturday.
MacArthur cut the lead to 38-28 just inside the fourth quarter but Sam Walter returned the ensuing kickoff for a 92 yard touchdown to put the game away.
