Nic Baker threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as Rochester cruised to a 42-6 running clock win over Prairie Central in the first round of the 4A playoffs. Baker’s passing touchdown to interception ratio improves to 43-to-0 on the season and the Rockets have still yet to turn the ball over through ten weeks of the season.
Rochester will play the winner of Belleville Althoff and Carterville who play on Saturday. The Rockets and Althoff have split their two quarterfinal meetings in each of the past two seasons.
