Glenwood Comes Back To Get Generals And Move To 6-2

Getting into the playoffs is old hat for the Glenwood Titans, to earn the automatic playoff bid this season required a comeback against a quality MacArthur squad but the Titans rallied from a 14-0 deficit to win 28-14 and pick up their 6th win on the season.

Luke Lehnen had a hand in all four touchdowns as the sophomore threw for 2 touchdowns (one to Cole Hembrough and one to Jubbar Cross) and ran for two more TDs.

Glenwood’s defense tightened the screws in the 2nd half forcing two interceptions and two turnover on downs to shut down the high powered MacArthur offense.

Glenwood goes to 6-2 with the win and will travel to play 4-4 Normal U-High next Friday night while MacArthur falls to 6-2 and will host Lanphier next Friday night to end the regular season.
