Athens quarterback Mason Reiff threw a pair of touchdowns to Garrett Reichert and he ran for another score as Athens improved to 7-1 with a 55-14 Week 8 win at New Berlin on Friday. Drayton Davis added a pair of touchdown runs for the Warriors who totaled 460 yards on the ground.
The win sets up a Week 9 showdown with undefeated Williamsville for Athens. The Warriors could force a share of the Sangamo Conference championship with a win.
