Tristen Tewes stole the show at the 1A El Paso-Gridley track & field sectional on Wednesday. Tewes cleared 6-8 1/4 in the high jump to not only claim a sectional title and punch his ticket to state, but the leap also sets a new school record at Pleasant Plains.
