Pleasant Plains fell to U-High, 5-4 in the Plains Invite on Saturday. The Cardinals led until the fifth inning, when U-High’s Beau Hendren hit a two-run home run to right field, tying the game at 4-4. The Pioneers would win it in the eight, as Parker Mathieson scored on a Cardinals error.
