The physical-style from Illini West seemed to wear down the Tri-City girls and the Chargers were able to go on a third quarter run that the Tornadoes could never fight back from.
Illini West beat Tri-City 50-33 in the 2A Waverly sectional semifinal and will play Camp Point Central in the sectional championship on Thursday evening.
Tri-City ends their historic season with a 24-2 record.
