Jacksonville’s Brady Hays made his return to the court after a shoulder injury forced him to miss a game and the senior sharpshooter was on point all night leading all scorers with 26 including a 15 footer with 4.5 seconds left to give the Crimsons a 49-47 road win at Lincoln. Jacksonville, who was was mired in a five game losing streak last month, avenged an early season loss to Eisenhower and paid back the Railers for winning at the Bowl in December. Lincoln rallied back from a double digit deficit to tie the game at 47 before a late turnover and the Hays jumper did the Railers in. Jacksonville improves to 6-5 in the CS8 with the win while Lincoln falls to 7-3.
