Xavier Bishop, Yaakema Rose and Cardell McGee combined for 56 points on 20-of-40 shooting to pace Lanphier to a 76-64 win over Jacksonville, to claim the 3A Jacksonville regional championship.

The Lions were without their head coach, Blake Turner, who was suspended for one game by the IHSA for violating a rule in Tuesday's win over Springfield, stating that you must not play or dress more than 15 players in a postseason game. 16 players dressed and contributed in that blowout win. Felipe Phillips, who coached for six seasons at MacArthur stepped up in an interim role to coach the Lions.

The Jacksonville forward duo of Brandon McCombs and Tyler Rose were fantastic as the two combined for 24 and 17 points, respectively. James White and Joe Brannan added nine points and eight points each.
