The Southeast Spartans used their staple…tough defense to pull away from the Eisenhower Panthers in the second quarter and never looked back.
Kobe Medley scored 18 points and D'Angelo Hughes did a little bit of everything as Southeast beat Eisenhower 68-43 in the 3A Lincoln regional championship on Friday night.
The Spartans will travel to the Taylorville sectional, where they will play Mahomet-Seymour on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the sectional semifinal.
