Collins Connects on Nine Three’s To Push Plains Past Beardstown In Semis

Isaac Collins needed just two points to surpass the 1,000 career mark and he got that…and more. Collins hit nine three-pointers including six in the third quarter for a total of 29 points to power Pleasant Plains past Beardstown 75-57 in the 2A Plains regional semifinal game on Tuesday night.

Austin Finley, Daulton Nibbe and Cole Greer all scored in double figures to help Collins.

Rick Dour had 24 points for Beardstown and D'ante McWilliams added 12 for the Tigers.

Pleasant Plains awaits the winner of Wednesday night's semifinal between Auburn and Riverton for the regional championship on Friday night.
