Rich McBride's 2,067 career points had him at the top of the Lanphier career scoring list at the beginning of the night on Tuesday. By the end of it, he was in second behind Xavier Bishop's 2,070. Bishop needed 25 to break McBride's record and he poured in 27 in an 82-70 win over Springfield High. He added six rebounds and five assists while shooting 9-21 from the field on a history making night at Lober Nika Gymnasium.

Cardell McGee flirted with a double double but continued to stuff the stat sheet in the win. The sophomore had 20 points, nine rebounds, four steals and four assists.

Keon Day led Springfield with 23 points and Trevor Minder had 17.
