Albert Okuegbunam ended a busy recruitment process on Saturday when he provided a verbal commitment to play tight end to the University of Missouri. The 3-star SHG product was particularly desirable because of his 6-5, 225 pound frame and the good hands that accompany it.

Okuegbunam chose Mizzou over Nebraska, West Virginia, Minnesota, Indiana and Syracuse. He also chose to play tight end over defensive end, where he was garnering attention as well.

In his junior season, Okuegbunam caught 31 passes for 568 yards (18.3 YPC) and 11 touchdowns. Through four games of his senior campaign, he has caught 11 passes for 289 yards (26.2 YPC) and six scores.
