The Pleasant Plains Cardinals were able to finally beat their rivals on the gridiron.

Jacob Cronister led the Cardinals on a clock-eating drive in the fourth quarter that ended on a Nik Georges touchdown to give Plains the lead back after they coughed up a 17 point advantage in the fourth quarter.

Williamsville scored quickly after falling down 32-15 and Vince Vignali put the Bullets up 36-32 with six minutes left in the game.

Following Georges' touchdown, Williamsville had a chance for a two minute drill drive but Jace Franklin was hit by Logan McBride and Austin Finley recovered the fumble to allow Plains to run the victory formation to finish out the game with a 39-36 win over Williamsville.
