SHG led off a late barrage of three pointers from a pesky Rochester squad to seal a 60-53 win Saturday night in Belz Gym. Rochester hit six fourth quarter 3’s as part of a 25-point quarter, even getting the lead within 4 with under a minute to go, but SHG senior guard Catie Eck went 7-7 from the free throw line in the fourth to seal the game.
Eck finished with 22 points, including hitting a half court shot at the buzzer going into halftime. Fellow senior Abbie Antonacci chipped in 13 points. Lindsey Sapetti had 15 for the Rockets in the loss.
