Springfield High gave 3A No. 1 Southeast all they wanted earlier this week which was apparently enough to remind MacArthur not look past the Senators with a showdown with Lanphier looming on Saturday. The Generals opened a 23 point second quarter lead and cruised to an 87-66 victory, extending their winning streak to eight games.
Armon and Amir Brummett finished with 14 and 13 respectively. Zaire Harris had a game high 21 for Springfield.
