PORTA senior Trey Hild became a four time champion of the Rex Avery Invite, something his head coach Jeff Hill called a very rare feat on Saturday.
Hild wrestled up at 145 pounds and still picked up his fourth title at the PORTA wrestling tournament that features some of the top talent in the state at the 1A level. His teammate Joe Burris, also took home an individual title at 120. Auburn’s Michael Ushman won the 113 pound title.
Auburn’s Caleb Nix (138), PORTA’s Will Heikes (220) and Riverton’s Grant Ripperda (170) all finished runner up.
