Final Central State 8 Brahler Cup Standings For 2015-16

Springfield High used a terrific spring sports season to pull away from any competition and win the the 2015-16 Brahler Cup. The surprising and thrilling baseball run to the 3A state championship game highlighted a spring that saw Senators dominating the landscape. SHS won conference titles in both boys and girls track, baseball and tennis. The tennis team added a sectional crown and girls soccer added a regional title. Sophomore Ozzy Erewele chipped in with a point for her individual top three finish in the 3A 100 meter dash finals at state.

Rochester locked up second place thanks to a 2A state championship and CS8 crown from the girls soccer team. SHG slid into third with a state tournament bid from the Cyclones softball team.

Springfield High receives a $1,000 donation to their athletic department courtesy of Brahler Tire, Auto & Lube Centers.
