The guard combination of Ryan Roscetti and Zak Merchant made sure the Riverton Hawks didn't lose their first two games in County Tournament.
After a strong offensive third quarter in which Tri-City made 8 of their 10 field goals, the Hawks clamped down defensively and pulled away for the 69-44 win over the Tornadoes.
Tri-City will play Pawnee for seventh place at 5 p.m. on Friday, while Riverton will take on New Berlin for fifth place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
