United Community Bank Cup – Point System
Schools are only awarded points for their furthest post-season accomplishment. For example, if a school makes the state championship game in baseball they gets the designated 8 points. They don’t get an additional 6 for a super sectional, 4 for a sectional and 2 for a regional title.
School will only receive team points for team finishes at state in sports where team and individual titles are awarded (ex. track, golf, cross country, swimming & diving, tennis). Individual points will only count if a team state trophy is not achieved.
