Trinity in Taylorville Prime Time Performer: September 6-11

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

Jackson Pitz (SHG Soccer) The Cyclones had two big conference games last week against Rochester and Glenwood. They picked up a 1-0 victory over Glenwood on Thursday as Pitz posted a shutout against a tough Titans team.

Cade Culp (Maroa Forsyth Football) Culp and the Trojans returned to the field for the first time since week one and picked up right where they left off. The senior running back score four touchdown with 123 yards rushing and 41 yards receiving in the victory over New Berlin.

Makenna Cox (Lutheran High Volleyball) The Crusaders continue to pick up wins this season with victories over PORTA and Routt this week. Cox had 16 kills and 25 digs in at game at PORTA and another 10 kills and 10 digs against Routt.

Hank Beatty (Rochester Football) No surprise with this nomination as he took over Leonard Bowl XIII on Friday. The senior rushed for 301 yards with four touchdowns. He also passed for 135 yards and one touchdown with a handful of receiving yards and a tackle at the end of the game.

Kai Brudnak (Springfield Soccer) The Senators had a thriller with QND last week. After being down 2-0 at halftime Brudnak scored two goals to start the second half to tie it up. After going down 3-2 he also had an assist on the goal that knotted it back up at 3.

Hunter Moser (Williamsville Football) Back at Paul Jenkins Field the Bullets cruised to a week three win over Riverton. Moser rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns with 23 receiving yards in the victory.

Tyler Davis (Maroa Forsyth Golf) The Boys Sangamo Golf Tournament was Thursday and Davis picked up first as he shot an 80. He help lead the Trojans to a second place finish in the conference meet.

Jamarion Smith (Glenwood Football) Glenwood had a big game in Jacksonville against the Crimsons on Friday. Smith was a big part of the offense with three touchdowns and 150 yards rushing in the 35-28 comeback win.

Troy Olson (Rochester Soccer) The Rockets first win of SHG week came Tuesday with a 2-1 win at SHG. After a scoreless first half the scoring picked up in the second, Olson tied the game at 1 with 24 minutes left then scored the game winner with just 19 seconds left in regulation.

Ty Lott (SHG Football) The Cyclones put on a show with the Rockets Friday night in one of the best Leonard Bowls of the series. Lott showed off his arm with 319 yards passing and four passing touchdowns in the game. He also rushed for 50 yards. Special shoutout to KeShon Singleton (3 TDs), Bill Sanders (3 rushing TDs) and Jake Hamilton (174 receiving yards, 1 TD) so we’ll the nod to the guy who got them the ball this week.

Will Seman (Williamsville Golf) The Bullets walked away from the Sangmo Conference Golf Meet with the conference championship on Thursday. Seman led the team as he shot an 80 for Williamsville.
