Pleasant Plains has played arguably the three best teams in 1A this season and handed them all losses, including a 59-50 margin on Friday night over West Central. The loss is the Cougars first this season. Gabe Cox led all scorers with 20 points for West Central, Nick Savage had 15 for Pleasant Plains, Justin Guernsey added 12 and Joel Niermann and Corgan Greer had 11 each.
