The Cyclones would get on the board right away with two runs in the top of the first inning. The Cardinals would fight their way back with one run in the first and two in the third to take a 3-2 lead. The fourth inning was huge for SHG as they would score 8 runs to take a 10-3 lead. The Cyclones would make it 15-3 in the fifth and go on to beat the Cardinals 15-5 in five innings.
