One Hit Holds Up For Pleasant Plains To Sneak Out Win Over Auburn

Pleasant Plains made the most of their only hit on Thursday afternoon against Auburn, beating the Trojans 1-0 in Sangamo action in a rain shortened game.

Umpires called a weather delay in the bottom of the sixth inning with one out with the Cardinals leading 1-0. Auburn managed five hits against Oliver but couldn’t manufacture a run through six innings before the rain shortened the game by an inning.
