Cam Edmonson tossed five strong scoreless innings, only allowing three hits while striking out eight with a 6-0 lead, but the Senators came roaring back in the final two innings to make it 6-5 in the bottom of the seventh. From there, senior pitcher Alex Bruno handled the rest, striking out the final batter with the pressure on to preserve the sweep over Springfield High and help move the Rockets to 4-0 in the CS8.
