A big third quarter finally did it for the Cyclones. Leading by as many as nine in the first half, SHG jumped out on a third quarter run sparked by Isaiah Thompson and Andrew Schluter that gave the Cyclones an 18 point lead that they wouldn’t give up, beating Jerseyville 70-51. SHG will play Southeast for the 3A Jerseyville Regional Championship on Friday night.
