Joel Niermann and Nick Savage both score 12 points to lead the Cardinals to a dominant 52-27 win over Rushville in the Pittsfield regional semifinals.
Rushville cut the lead to 9 in the middle of the this quarter but Gage Bartos and Justin Guernsey would help the Cardinals finish the quarter strong as they took a 14 point lead headed to the final quarter. The Cardinals advance to Friday’s regional championship where they will play the winner between two Sangamo schools in Auburn or PORTA.
