As MacArthur jumped out to a 14 point lead in the third quarter, it looked like it just wasn’t the Cyclones’ day in Decatur on Saturday night. But then, as the Cyclones kept chipping away at that MacArthur lead, Joe Gustafson came up with a gigantic and one to give SHG their first lead of the game with under a minute to play and the Cyclones turned away one final game-winning chance by Skyllar Walker to come away with a 63-62 win. It’s their first win over MacArthur since the Generals joined the CS8.
