MacArthur’s defense led by Keon Jones helped the Generals survive the first round of the Decatur Turkey Tournament. The Generals were down five to Thornton as they headed into the fourth quarter. A Kaeden Lawary layup with 2:21 remaining would finally give Mac the lead. MacArthur would not look back from there as they would beat Thornton 57-54
