Pleasant Plains found themselves down 13 points midway through the third quarter at the Hawk Center, but the Cardinals slowly climbed back to force overtime after a 36 all tie after four quarters. From there, Joel Niermann was an absolute stud for the Cardinals. Niermann finished with 19, but saved his most important two for the second OT as time expired to give Pleasant Plains a 49-47 win over Riverton.
Spencer Yoggerst had a game-high 23 points for the Hawks in the loss.
