Springfield High scored late in the second period to make it a 5-3 ballgame but SHG scored five unanswered to run away for an 11-4 win.
Zach Eddington had a hat trick and Jared Viele and Evan Wellman each added two goals for the Cyclones.
The win for SHG sets up a matchup of the two undefeated teams in the Lincoln Land High School Hockey league on Wednesday night at the Nelson Center. SHG will take on Glenwood with an 8:30 puck drop.
