North Mac extends their Sangamo winning streak to 15 games with their third 4th quarter rally of the season, a 22-20 win at Pleasant Plains.
Asa Donaldson scored all three touchdowns for the Panthers (2 running, 1 receiving) while Logan York added a 33 yard field goal in the 4th quarter for the Panthers.
Plains lead for most of the game made a furious rally late in 4Q with a Cole Greer touchdown catch to cut the Panther lead to 2. Kai Carlberg’s 38 yard field goal with 45 seconds to go to give Plains the lead was wide left.
With the win the North Mac Panthers, the #6 team in Class 3A, moves to 6-0 while Pleasant Plains falls to 1-5, a likely death blow to the Cardinals playoff hopes.
