Southeast had a lead after the opening quarter and hung around for most of the first half. The top seeded Springfield High Senators were able to pull away and take control early in the second half on their way to a 69-46 win over the Spartans. Noah Wade and Mayango Jallah each scored 16 points for the Senators who will play SHG (1-0) in the nightcap on Friday.
