The Pleasant Plains football team opened up the 2015 Sangamo season with a 55 point performance that included three new school records. Most completions in a game from Jacob Cronister (23), most receiving yards by Cole Greer (156) and most yards of total offense in one game (643).
The addition of some athletic weapons at the receiving position, paired with the big and strong offensive line, a returning quarterback from last year and some bruising running backs has the excitement for Cardinal football at a high early on in the season.
Plains will travel to Auburn for a big week two test against the Trojans to see where they stack up in the Sangamo conference this season.
