SHG lost fumbles three times inside the Shepard five yard line in Friday's 6A playoff opener, and still the Cyclones were able to put up over 700 yards in a 53-6 win that featured a running clock mid-way through the third quarter. When SHG talks about needing to "clean things up" you might know at this point that's all a matter of perspective.
Tim Brenneisen threw for 365 yards and two touchdowns, completing 17 of 22 attempts. The Cyclones racked up 358 more yards on the ground with the bulk of the load coming from Tremayne Lee, who had 140 yards on six carries, and Sam Sergent, who tallied 117 yards on 11 attempts.
