Feeling Overlooked, Williamsville Shoots Down Rochester’s Final Run At County

Williamsville entered Thursday's semifinal with a "chip on its shoulder." The Bullets felt Rochester overlooked them, given the Rockets switched up their schedule in anticipation of playing in the championship game on Saturday. The Bullets took out their frustrations, handing Rochester a 40-38 defeat.

With the win, Williamsville will meet Pleasant Plains on Saturday night for the County Tournament title. This year marks Rochester last year in the County Tournament bracket. The Rockets will now play for the third place game on Friday night.

Harrison Creswell led all scorers with 15 points. Jake Pennell added seven points and Matt Watson scored six.

For Rochester, Dalton Handlin led the way with 13 points, 12 of which came in the first half. Dan Zeigler scored nine points and Collin Stallworth added eight in the loss.
