Pleasant Plains junior striker Bailey Leach scored a hat trick in the second half to reach the 100 goal career milestone in the Cardinals’ 8-0 win over Athens. Emma Sabatka preserved the shutout in goal for the Cardinals, who will play Williamsville at 5:45 on Thursday for the Plains Invite championship. That game will also serve as the Selvaggio Steel Game of the Week and the Sangamo conference game.
