Brandon McCombs' shot at the buzzer off an inbounds pass with 0.6 seconds left gave Jacksonville a walk off 58-56 win over Lanphier in a bizarre game that will be talked about and discussed for some time.

Lanphier's Yaakema Rose was whistled for a charging foul with just over a minute left in the first quarter. Following the whistle, a technical foul was called on Rose as he had his arms outreached with his palms up in the air. A "what did I do?" type reaction.

In the third quarter, following a Xavier Bishop lay up on the fast break, Rose was called for a second technical foul away from the ball. The second technical fall caused Rose to be ejected from the game and the two technicals will also keep Rose out of Lanphier's next game on Tuesday vs. Lincoln.

On the next play, following a steal and lay up, Cardell McGee was also called for a technical foul, causing a brief delay in the game, where Lanphier coach, Blake Turner was trying to get an explanation from the referees.

With the game tied at 56 apiece with 14.3 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Lanphier held for the last shot. Xavier Bishop tried to shake a triple team and lost control of the ball. Riley Dugan and Davon Harris tied up, resulting in a jump ball. The posession arrow was with Jacksonville, giving the Crimsons the ball with 1.6 seconds left. Jacksonville advanced the ball past half court and immediately called a timeout with 1.4 seconds left. After Lanphier's Aundrae Williams tipped the ball out of bounds, Jacksonville inbounded the ball again with 0.6 seconds left. Joe Brannan tossed up a pass to Brandon McCombs and after a slight bobble of the basketball, McCombs got a shot off just before the red light went off, to give Jacksonville a 58-56 win over Lanphier.
