For the first time in nearly 30 years, the Springfield High baseball team took the season series against the Glenwood Titans with an 8-1 win on Thursday afternoon.
Michael Lavin and Ethan Klay dominated on the mound for the Senators and Austin Alderman, Trevor Minder, Lavin and a whole host of Springfield High offense put up eight runs against Glenwood to move the Solons to 4-0 in the Central State Eight this season.
