Pleasant Plains opened their season on Wednesday with a running clock 54-19 win over St Joseph Ogden on their home floor. Bailey Leach scored eight of her 18 in the first quarter as the Cardinals jumped out to a 15-6 lead and were in control at 28-9 at halftime. Anna Weber led all scorers with 23, including ten in the third quarter. Pleasant Plains is at Edwardsville on Friday.
